What is Podiatry?
Podiatry is the branch of the practice of medicine dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders, deformities, diseases, and injuries of the human foot, ankle, and leg. Treatment can be by medical, mechanical or surgical means.
A Podiatrist Physician (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) has typically completed 3-4 years of undergraduate education, plus four years of Podiatric Medical college and an additional 1-4 years of post-graduate training in an approved residency program before entering private practice.
What Insurance do you Take?
We participate in most HMOs, PPOs, and private insurance plans. Please contact our office for more information on our participation in your particular plan. Co-payments are due the day of your visit. It is always best to call the number on the back of your Insurance card before you come and ask them if they are a In Network Provider for our office and Dr. Daniel or Dr. Lu.
How Long does an appointment take?
There is never a guaranteed time for how long appointment can take. Depending on the reason you are coming and/or procedure you are having done, an appointment can take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
What are your Hours?
Monday – Friday – 8:00am – 5:00pm
We leave for lunch from 12pm to 1pm each day.
Do you do Surgery?
Our office does have a Surgery Suite and we can schedule Surgery, here in the office.
Surgery Days vary but are typically scheduled on Fridays.
